Chris Vermeulen secures MotoGP fill-in ride
Chris Vermeulen has been confirmed as the replacement rider for Colin Edwards at the next MotoGP round in Le Mans, France on May 20. Edwards broke his collarbone following a collision with fellow CRT rider, Randy de Puniet, during practise for the Estoril MotoGP round and will not be fit to return to racing until June.
IEG to promote Aussie Supercross until 2014
After almost three months of speculation over the future of Australian Supercross following the withdrawal of SuperX series promoter Global Action Sports in February, Motorcycling Australia (MA) announced on May 8 that International Entertainment Group (IEG) has been appointed to promote the series for three years, starting this year.
2012 BMW GS Safari registrations now open
Registrations for this September's 2012 BMW GS Safari are now open. The GS Safari will set out from Ballina in NSW on September 16 and head into The Great Dividing Range, concluding in Bathurst on September 21.

Raider offers rare Italian bikes
Raider Motorsport has recently been given the opportunity to sell a quartet of rare and highly desirable motorycles, comprising a Laverda SFC, Egli Ducati, Ducati 851 Kit Tricolore, and Ducati 900SS Imola. Raider will have exclusive rights to sell these machines only until Thursday, May 10.

Stoner wins MotoGP round 3 in Portugal
