Triumph Thruxton March 2007
With its perfectly proportioned, evocative silhouette the Thruxton is a truly beautiful machine. It captures the very essence of the cafe racer look - the shorty style front mudguard, rakish clip-on handlebars, distinctive seat hump and Spartan elegance - and matches it to exhilarating performance. The Thruxton fires the imagination of many of today's younger riders who seek a distinctive and involving bike, where the classic style of the sixties mixes seamlessly with a modern attitude.
Triumph Bonneville March 2007
This pairing of authenticity with contemporary has led the Bonneville to become an icon in its own right. World famous (and quintessentially British) designer Paul Smith has personally designed a signature series of 'Bonnies', with accessories to match. Triumph's own sixty8 range, which includes hand crafted laptop bags, iPod holders and a series of unique custom painted tank covers, further enhances the Bonn-eville's status not only as a motorcycle but also as a cool style statement.
Triumph America. March 2007
Based around the legendary Bonneville, the America builds on a fantastic package and in 2007 benefits from a cubic capacity hike from 790cc to 865cc. The basic architecture of the America's air-cooled DOHC eight-valve twin-cylinder engine is as the Bonnie but a 270' firing interval - rather than 360' - gives a loping exhaust note and mellow power delivery that's now even bigger on easy going drive and equally as heavy with character. Peak power of 55PS is delivered at 6750rpm with peak torque of 69Nm arriving at 4800rpm.
Rocket III Classic. March 2007
The Rocket III Classic is a true cruising motorcycle, and one firmly focused on rider and pillion comfort.
Triumph Daytona 675.
The 675 Daytona is an exciting sports bike that owners will never tire of riding.
Triumph Tiger March 2007
At the new all rounder's heart is the 1050cc, fuel-injected, three-cylinder engine that's already been so well received in both Sprint ST and Speed Triple guise. Peak power of 115 horsepower is delivered at 9400rpm, with 100Nm of torque at 6250rpm. The bike also has fully adjustable USD forks, and radial brakes.
Triumph Sprint ST March 2007
It's a sports bike that covers distance in absolute comfort, a touring bike that carves corners effortlessly, with a truly usable mix of poise, power and all round practicality.
Triumph Speedmaster March 2007
Triumph has not rested on the success of the Speedmaster however and, for 2007, a whole host of detail improvements have made the bike even more special.
Triumph Speed Triple March 2007
The gnarly character of the inline triple is intrinsic to the Speed Triple's brutish charm. Its primal 1050cc, DOHC, fuel injected, three-cylinder engine pumps out a great surge of bottom end torque, followed by a massive mid-range punch and impressive level of overall power. Delivering that power to the rear wheel is a slick shifting six-speed gearbox. Crisp edged engine cases and covers enhance the engine's look, as does the absence of exterior hoses. Peak power is 132PS @ 9250rpm while peak torque of 105Nm arrives at 7550rpm.
Bike sales at an all time high in 2006. March 2007
Australian motorcycle sales have hit all-time highs as increasing numbers of commuters and lifestyle enthusiasts turn to two wheels.
