MotoGP - Head to Head DVD
The DVD starts with perhaps the most famous and spectacular rider feud of all time between Wayne Rainey and Kevin Schwantz, who made no attempt to disguise their contempt for each other either on or off the track. Put these two together and the fireworks would really fly!
Whilst Rainey and Schwantz were compatriots riding for different factories, sometimes the most intense rivalries can muster within the same team. This was the case with Mick Doohan and Alex Criville in the 1990s.
Two team-mates who did get along were the 250cc stars, Oliver Jacque and Shinya Nakano. The competitive rivalry between the pair brought about one of the most exciting head-to-heads in living memory. Head to Head remembers in detail their breathtaking battle for the 2000 quarter-litre crown, which went right down to the final corner of the final race at Phillip Island.
Of course, the DVD wouldn't be complete without covering the most famous rivalry of the modern era - Valentino Rossi and Max Biaggi. The Italian pair held each other in equally low esteem even before Rossi made the step up to the premier class. Their mutual disregard exploded into a flurry of arguments, on-track battles, even a reported punch up on the way to the podium!
With Biaggi's move to World Superbikes, the two may never race head to head again. So check out when their rivalry was at its most fierce and racing was at its hottest in Moto GP Head to Head - a fascinating look at some great rivals and the great racing they produced.
