TICKET GUIDE – MotoGP Grand Prix of Australia 2026
Words: Mike Ryan
Photos: Russell Colvin, unless indicated
With this year’s MotoGP Grand Prix of Australia the last to be held at Victoria's Phillip Island before moving to the Adelaide Street Circuit from 2027, demand for tickets to the “grand finale” has been unprecedented. Multiple ticketing options have sold out already, with many more expected to be snapped up in advance of the 23-25 October event.
At time of writing, all three grand prix championships were well and truly alive, which is what you’d expect after 12 of 22 rounds. The surprise of the 2026 season at this point is how close the MotoGP title fight is. Marc Marquez hasn’t been able to repeat his 2025 dominance, and while Aprilia has come to the fore, their success has been shared by all four riders across the factory and satellite teams. Ahead of the twelfth round, just 24 points separated the Top 5 in the championship. That gap has opened a little since then, with Jorge Martin (Aprilia Racing) leading the championship, but Marco Bezzecchi, Ai Ogura, Marquez and Fabio Di Giannantonio are all within striking distance.

If the chance to witness a title fight that looks likely to go down to the wire wasn’t enough of a reason to get to Phillip Island this 23-25 October, how about what may be your last opportunity to see Jack Miller in MotoGP? With no ride locked in for 2027 at time of writing, and rumours of a move to World Superbikes, expect the cheers for Miller to be stronger than ever this year. There will be other Aussies to cheer in the form of Joel Kelso, who finished runner-up in last year’s Moto3 race at the Island, while Senna Agius was a VERY popular Moto2 winner in 2025.
Tickets for this year’s MotoGP Grand Prix of Australia, the last to be held at Phillip Island, are selling out fast, but there are still opportunities to see and enjoy everything the famous Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit has to offer. Island Pass (General Admission) and grandstand seating options are still available, but you’ll need to act fast.

Plan, Purchase, Prepare!
If you haven’t started organising your weekend for the MotoGP Grand Prix of Australia 2026 at Phillip Island, get moving! Here’s a rundown on all the ticketing options and essential info you need to know for the 23-25 October event.
NOTE: Ticket options not labelled as ‘SOLD OUT’ were available at time of writing, but several of these will sell out for this year’s “grand finale” at Phillip Island. If your preferred option is no longer available, you can add your name to a waitlist, should cancellations make tickets available. JUST BIKES strongly advise you check the availability of your preferred ticketing options – at motogp.com.au/tickets - before making travel and accommodation plans.

TICKETING OPTIONS
Ticket options suit just about every budget, from one-day Island Pass tickets to full weekend VIP hospitality. Ticket prices have been frozen for most options, including Island Pass, Catch-a-Coach transfers and the pre-event Homecoming Ride.

All Island Pass tickets are electronic (mobile ticket) and must be pre-purchased before arriving at the circuit. There will be NO Island Pass ticket sales at the gate. Physical tickets will not be issued for the event, but souvenir ‘Collector Tickets’ will be available after the event.
