Manshed Auctions next big Harley-Davidson auction coming in February
Following a string of successful motorcycle-themed auctions in 2025, Manshed Auctions are kicking off 2026 with another big bike clearance, with complete bikes, projects, parts and collectables on offer. Comprising 284 individual lots from multiple vendors, this new auction will be held on Sunday, 1 February, 2026, with pre-bidding open now.

With Harley-Davidson parts from early v-twin, through the Knuckle, Shovel, Pan, EVO and later eras, this auction also includes a load of WLA components – from valve kits and oil lines to fuel tanks, front ends, engine parts and more. Harley service manuals and literature, plus engine stands for the workshop are also on offer.

This auction isn’t all-Harley, though, with Indian Chief, Prince and Scout parts, plus British bike parts that include a C1928 BSA single project and C1939 Panther Model 20 engine. A Triumph Thunderbird seat set (2010-16) and some generic bike parts – footpegs, indicators, mirrors, etc. – are also available, along with tattoo related merchandise and a Harley-Davidson door that would make an ideal entry for the bike-themed man cave.

Of the complete bikes in this auction, the headliner is a very desirable 1945 Harley-Davidson FL Knucklehead. Recently built, it combines a reproduction frame and fuel tanks with genuine engine parts, including Knuckle heads on Pan barrels – a common modification in the past.
Both the engine and transmission have been rebuilt, with a new clutch, brakes, wheels, tyres and wiring. Flanders handlebars look the part, while a genuine Police siren has been cleverly converted to an air cleaner cover.
Well-equipped, this bike would be ready to ride on the Knucklehead Rally this March.

A recent addition to this auction is a civilianised 1942 Harley-Davidson WLA. Described as having a fresh engine, gearbox and new drive chains, this WLA combines the authentic 45ci v-twin, transmission and springer front end with a custom saddle, custom front guard, and ‘80s-style rear guard. The two-piece tank has been reconfigured to hold petrol in both halves, with the oil tank relocated behind the engine.

Another mild custom on offer is a C1970s Harley-Davidson XLCH Sportster. Last registered in the US in 1978, this build combines ‘70s styling themes, like a king-and-queen seat in vinyl and velvet, shortened handlebars, and an extensive custom paint job - using swirls and rich metalflake - on the peanut tank and rear guard. These changes aside, the engine, suspension, wheels and frame appear mostly stock, making this Sportster easy to convert back to factory spec if the new owner wishes.

The final bike of note is a 1961 Harley-Davidson FLH Panhead that’s said to be an ex-Detroit Police bike. Being a ’61, it benefits from the ‘Duo-Glide’ rear suspension introduced three years earlier, while the Panhead engine was being regarded as positively as the venerable Knucklehead by this point. Aside from custom paint, other additions to this bike include the pipes, tail light and some trim on the saddle, while the front guard has been removed. Another bike that could be converted back to stock relatively easy, this Panhead would also be just as enjoyable to ride as is.

Projects in this auction include a 1973 Harley-Davidson Wide Glide that comes with just about everything except the engine, transmission and wheels. For Motorhead fans, the tanks are liveried with a custom ‘Ace of Spades’ graphic!
For something more recent, there’s an EVO-engined project that features a 2013-built Kraft/Tech rigid frame with a 24-degree rake and provision to fit a 180-section rear tyre. A fuel tank, oil tank, front and rear mudguards, wheels and a handful of other parts are included, but many more would be needed to bring this project to completion.
Finally, there’s also a 2000-built Roadline frame with a twin-shock swingarm and bespoke rear mudguard that’s welded in. An oil tank, front mudguard and a handful of brake parts are included in this lot.

Of the abundance of Harley WLA parts in this auction, there’s an original, genuine frame, plus an engine (minus pistons and valves), clutch and transmission, a multitude of engine parts, a fuel tank w/Eaton caps, cat’s eye dash, headlight and just about every other piece of WLA minutiae you could think of, some of which are still in their original boxes. Parts to suit the 1938-48 Model U and VL big twins are also on offer.

Parts for later model Harleys include a Shovelhead air cleaner cover and crossover pipe, Wide Glide brake sleeves, EVO rocker boxes and fuel tank, Softail inner primary, Twin Cam muffler tubes, and a selection of pre-2022 Street Glide parts, to name a few. There are also generic parts, like Performance Machine brake calipers and a set of Burleigh Bars.
