Kyle Wyman wins 2025 King of the Baggers
Harley-Davidson is once again top dog in King of the Baggers, with Kyle Wyman wrapping up the 2025 championship for H-D at the penultimate round. The result also sees Wyman regain the crown he last won in 2021.

Riding for the Harley-Davidson x Dynojet Factory Race Team, Wyman started the 2025 season strong with two race wins, then secured five more over the next four rounds to put him in a near-unbeatable position with two rounds remaining.
The defending King of the Baggers champion, Australia’s Troy Herfoss (S&S/Indian Motorcycle), was out of the title fight coming into the sixth round at the Circuit of the Americas (CotA) in September, while his team mate, Loris Baz, only had a mathematical chance of winning.

With Wyman needing only three points from the weekend to give him an unassailable championship lead, the 34-year-old from New York State qualified on the front row, then rode his race-spec Harley-Davidson Road Glide conservatively to finish Race 1 in fourth place. That gave him an unbeatable 90-point championship lead and a sense of achievement that even a crash in Race 2 couldn’t dampen.
Now a two-time King of the Baggers champion, Wyman is also the most successful rider in the category’s short history, with 25 race wins – seven of which he achieved this season.
Runner-up to Herfoss last year, Wyman has never finished worse than third in the championship.

“It’s hard to (put this moment into words),” Wyman said after receiving the #1 plate. “This team deserves it. They’ve been working so hard to earn this position. I just can’t thank them enough. Sticking behind me with three heart-breakers in a row, for us to get it done this year in this fashion is just amazing.
“It’s been an incredible year, and thanks to Harley-Davidson, we will bring this number one back to Milwaukee. It’s a dream to be able to do something this important to so many people.”
Two weeks later, at the seventh and final round, 4-5 race results for Wyman saw him finish the 2025 championship with 264 points, ahead of Baz (194) and Herfoss (183).
