Ducati reveals Marquez championship tribute Panigale V4
To celebrate Marc Marquez’s 2025 MotoGP World Championship, Ducati are creating a limited-edition replica. With exclusive componentry and a livery inspired by Marquez’s Desmosedici GP25, the ‘Panigale V4 Marquez 2025 World Champion Replica’ will be limited to 293 units worldwide.

Marquez not only won the Riders’ Championship in his first year with the factory Ducati team, his outstanding success – 11 GP wins and 14 Sprint wins – was also key to the Ducati Lenovo Team winning the Teams’ Championship and Ducati winning the Constructors’ Championship in 2025.
The Panigale V4 Marquez 2025 World Champion Replica that commemorates this achievement was officially unveiled at a ceremony for Ducati staff in Borgo Panigale this past December. Attended by Marquez, his team mate Francesco Bagnaia and other Ducati riders in MotoGP, World Superbikes and MXGP, the event saw most of the assembled riders parade their respective race bikes around the Ducati factory.

Inspired by a Champion
Based on the current Panigale V4 S, the Panigale V4 Marquez 2025 World Champion Replica features a livery inspired by Marquez’s winning Desmosedici GP25, including all sponsor logos and the #93 on the front fairing. Each bike also features Marquez’s signature on the tank.
Other cosmetic changes include special Alcantara seat trim with red contrast stitching and ‘MM93’ embroidered in white. An alternative seat is included, with the same identification, but without the Alcantara trim.

The top fork yoke adds ’93 Marquez’ identification on the offside, with the model name and individual build number (of 293) in the centre of the clamp. The ignition key also carries the bike’s build number and the same ‘MM93’ as the seat.
Finally, the full-colour dash display adds a model-specific animation on startup.

Extras and Reductions
Additional equipment over the Panigale V4 S starts with an Akrapovic exhaust system that’s lighter by 2.5kg and increases power from 158.9kW (216hp) to 160.7KW (218.5hp) at 13,500rpm thanks to a specific engine calibration. Peak torque is improved from 120.9Nm to 122.2Nm at the same 11,250rpm maximum.

Front winglets are unchanged from the Panigale V4 S, but MotoGP-inspired corner sidepods have been added to the lower section of the fairing. These generate ground effect at high lean angles, improving tyre grip, which in turn allows for faster cornering.

Forged wheels on the Panigale V4 S are replaced with five-spoke carbon fibre wheels on the special edition that are 0.95kg lighter. The reduced inertia (12 per cent front, 19 per cent rear) these lighter wheels provide allow for smoother and quicker changes in direction, along with a greater propensity for the bike to close the trajectory during acceleration while still leaning.

Ducati’s Front Brake Pro+ is fitted as standard, offering improved braking performance and consistency for street and track applications. Combining a pair of Brembo T-Drive 338.5mm discs with Brembo GP4 Sport Production calipers that are equipped with cooling fins, Front Brake Pro+ is derived from the system used on Ducati’s WorldSBK machines. The front master cylinder is an MCS 19.21 with remote adjustment that’s also inspired by WorldSBK.

A range of standard carbon fibre parts include the front and rear mudguards, chainguard, heel guards, swingarm cover, exhaust guard and alternator cover.
Other upgrades over the Panigale V4 S standard equipment include a dry clutch, adjustable billet aluminium footpegs, racing plexiglass windscreen (with an opaque front section) and a GPS module.

Premium Parts
Along with the aforementioned Akrapovic and Brembo parts, premium componentry on the special edition that’s unchanged from the Panigale V4 S includes Öhlins suspension – an NPX-30 fork and TTX 36 monoshock – that are part of the DES 3.0 electronic control system.
Aside from calibration to the suit the exhaust upgrade, the Panigale engine is also unchanged – an 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4, matched to a six-speed transmission with DQS Ducati quickshifter.
Despite its numerous lightweight parts, the other additions to the Marquez Replica mean the overall weight of 186.5kg is only 500g lighter than the Panigale V4 S.

There’s no mention of mirrors in the provided press material, nor on the images seen to date, so presumably they are not included as standard. These would be required for road legality in Australia, however. Same goes for the side reflectors, which are absent on the special edition but fitted to the Panigale V4 S.

Extras for the Track
On top of the standard equipment already mentioned, additional items supplied with the Panigale V4 Marquez 2025 World Champion Replica specifically for track use include a billet aluminium racing fuel cap, carbon fibre brake caliper air ducts, an open carbon fibre clutch cover, and rear licence plate removal kit.

Strictly Limited
Production of the Panigale V4 Marquez 2025 World Champion Replica will be limited to 293 units worldwide, all of which will be supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity and dedicated motorcycle cover. Each bike will be shipped in an exclusive, personalised wooden crate, with a box for the track accessories also included.

While the Panigale V4 S has a ride away price in Australia starting at $52,700, the Marquez edition comes with a price of $129,300 ride away. Even with that premium, all 293 units of the special edition are believed to have sold out at time of writing. Interested customers should contact their local Ducati dealer to confirm availability, reserve their bike (if still available) and get further details.
