CFMoto updates XO Papio Racer
CFMoto’s XO Papio Racer, the little bike with a big attitude, has been updated for 2026, introducing a new look and some key improvements. Due for local release soon, the new XO Papio Racer remains LAMS-legal, but adds traction control, fresh styling and revised ergonomics.

The combination of compact size, nimble handling and standout styling that made the original XO Papio Racer such a hit when it debuted back in 2023 are unchanged, but a few changes have been introduced for the 2026 version.
In place of a half fairing and bellypan, the MY26 version runs a full fairing that includes MotoGP-style winglets. There’s a new livery inspired by the CFMoto factory teams in Moto2 and Moto3, with the ‘Champion Blue’ finish adding a race number on the flyscreen, pink rim stickers and bold CFMoto branding.
The distinctive dual head and tail lights remain, as do 12-inch alloy wheels and a number plate bracket slung off the swingarm.

Clip-on bars have been raised by 48mm compared to the previous model, with the footpegs moved forward 114mm. This creates a more upright riding position to better suit urban commuting. Bar-end mirrors are unchanged, and the seat height is still very accessible at 760mm.
The other key additions to the 2026 XO Papio Racer are traction control and a premium glass lens for the 3-inch instrument pod that improves clarity for the LCD instrumentation.

The XO Papio Racer continues to run its unique combination of a 126cc air-cooled engine and six-speed transmission. The four-stroke single produces 7.0kW and 9.2Nm, while a 7.0-litre fuel tank allows up to 350km between fills.
USD forks and a monoshock rear provide 96mm of travel each, with braking combining a 210mm front disc and two-piston caliper with a 190mm rear disc and single-piston caliper, plus dual-channel ABS. Dimensions are 1,750mm x 700mm x 1,080mm (LxWxH) and dry weight is 114kg.
Scheduled for an Australian release in March, the LAMS-approved 2026 CFMoto XO Papio Racer is listed at $4,990 ride away, with warranty of up to three years. For more details, go to: cfmoto.com.au
