Triumph 1947 500cc "Tiger 100" Twin, Triumph's Flagship Sports Model using a highly tuned version of the "Speed Twin" engine. Claimed maximum speed 100 M.P.H. Competition success included a win at the 1947 Dutch senior "TT" and second place at the 1947 Isle of Mann senior "TT". According to the Triumph owners club fewer than 1800 were produced for 1947. This bike was despatched to Adelaide S.A. On the 4th Sept 1947. I have a dating certificate confirming all details including engine and frame numbers.
