Just arrived - This 1936 Triumph L2/1 is the perfect summer project. A nice light design with Triumph reliability and power, there are estimated to be only 2500 L2/1's produced. Driven by a 249cc single-port OHV single-cylinder motor, the Triumph has a 4-speed manual gearbox. Finished in a pretty blue with gold accents, it is certainly a beautifully designed motorcycle. It is a complete bike, but it requires some attention to get it running and bring it back to its former glory. This would be a wonderful bike to work on over the summer or even a first project, as they are simple bikes with accessible parts. With the bonus of being learner-approved, this Triumph can be registered under historic reg for minimal on-road costs.
