The first round of pre-orders for ZXMOTO’s motorcycle range for Australia opened on 8 October, ahead of the Chinese brand’s arrival here in the coming months. The first bikes to be available in Australia (and New Zealand) include sport, naked and motocross models.
Australian customers who pre-order and pay a fully refundable $500 deposit will secure their motorcycle from the first shipment at an introductory ride away price.

As previously reported by JUST BIKES, ZXMOTO are coming to Australia through Urban Moto Imports (UMI), whose portfolio of brands include Royal Enfield, Benelli, Segway, Rieju, Super Soco and Torrot. The introduction of ZXMOTO will enable UMI to compete directly against established Japanese brands in the sportsbike space, while also expanding their presence in the off-road market that’s consistently been the strongest segment for new motorcycle sales in Australia.

The pre-order process is straightforward. Customers simply select the bike they’re interested in, choose their preferred colour option and pay a refundable $500 deposit. That puts them in the queue to receive their bike from the first units to reach Australia – at special introductory pricing. That pricing starts at $8,990 for the MX250 and $9,490 for the MX450.
Road bike pricing starts at $9,990 for the 500F naked, which is available in LAMS and full-power variants. The 500RR sportsbike is also available in LAMS or unrestricted form, with introductory pricing of $10,490 for each. The premium 820RR sportsbike launches with an introductory ride away price of $14,490. (NOTE: pricing will vary depending on state/region).

Arrival times vary depending on model, with the MX250 the first to reach our shores – due in November. The MX450 will land in January. Of the ZXMOTO road bikes, the 500RR is due to arrive in December, followed by the 820RR in January. The 500F naked is expected in February.
A second round of pre-release models, to be announced in late November, will include the 450 Rally enduro, 820R naked and additional models yet to be revealed, including cruiser and adventure bikes.
