For sale is my 1998 Yamaha xv250 Virago. Cannot recommend this bike enough to learn on but will still suit the needs of a more experienced rider. Perfect choice for a learner as the bike is light, nimble and forgiving with the throttle. Engine size is small at 250cc, but this is still enough to beat traffic in the city and to do the limit on the freeways. Fuel economy is excellent, averaging around 3.0L/100km but with some effort can be reduced to 2.5. Selling due to moving. Never involved in an accident or dropped. Parts are completely stock. Willing to consider reasonable offers on legitimate grounds. Excellent condition mechanically, some rust around the rear chrome and some scratches as you’d expect from a 26-year-old bike but otherwise is looking great – everything works, new tyres on January 2024. Service history available for the time I’ve owned the bike, last serviced in January, registered until 15/04/2024. Please note: I work long hours so am not available to conduct a vehicle inspection during the week, I can only do this on weekends. Also, for this reason please do not expect a prompt response to messages.
