Only 500 of these homologation superbikes made. This bike has been in my lounge room for 17 years. Not a mark on it and totally original except for the braided brake lines and larger aftermarket clutch slave cylinder. The 851/888 series put Ducati on the world superbike map with championship wins every year, so are finally being recognised as a vital part of Ducati's history. Values have started to escalate over the last few years because people have realised the small numbers made each year.
