Restored late last century. Showing very low mileage on the odometer which reflects the overall condition of bike. Set up with regulator mounted in the tool box and decomp-lifterless. Very smooth revving, lovely sounding and handling machine. Velocette built 1250 KSS (OHC Super Sports) in 1947 and this is bike number 977 implying Sept/Oct production. Each 1947 KSS was sold at a loss to the company which then dropped OHC production 273 bikes later. A few tinware paint blems from 21 years in dry storage. Registration expired 15 Dec 2003.
