Starter Spirit

If you’re new to on-bike comms, Cardo’s Spirit is a great place to start. This entry-level product connects two riders, meaning you can communicate with your pillion or a mate on another bike, with an effective range of up to 400 metres between two riders.

If you’re travelling solo, the Spirit can also be used to stream your favourite tunes or provide audible GPS instructions. Other features include automatic volume adjustment and a 10-hour battery life with fast-charging function.

With an IP65 waterproof rating, universal connectivity and the latest Bluetooth chip, the Spirit also offers over-the-air software updates via the Cardo Connect app.

Easy Fitting

To install the Spirit, start by detaching your helmet’s sidepads and fit the included Velcro tabs to attach the 32mm speakers. Additional Velcro tabs fastened to the chin (full-face) or cheek (open face) allow the microphone to be fitted, with specific mics for each helmet type.

The Spirit unit’s base plate is then stuck to (wide rim helmet) or clipped on (narrow rim helmet) the side of your helmet. NOTE: For wide rim helmets, it’s important to allow the base plate’s adhesive to set for at least four hours before completing installation.

With the base plate and Spirit unit in place, connect the speaker/mic cables and you’re ready to go. If required, booster pads (that are included) can place the speakers closer to your ears.

Step up to HD

Along with the Spirit, Cardo also has the Spirit HD that offers longer range (600m), built-in FM radio (with 6-channel preset), larger (40mm) speakers and a longer-lasting (13-hour) battery.
