Extra Information: A legendary pre-war classic produced in small numbers believed to be 6037 bikes over 5 models. They are highly collectable with very few examples left in the world making them incredibly rare and tightly held. Examples like this are simply not available.
This genuine example was sold in new in Australia in 1937 and restored to a very high standard by a longtime Indian enthusiast. Finished in gorgeous Indian light blue and pin striping (correct 1937 colour scheme). Features and work includes: original guards, new all steel welded tanks, correct “Y” engine cylinder and heads, Corbin speedo 120mph, 12 volt electrics, Sunburst tail light. New engine parts fitted include: crank pins, bearing housing, bearings, cams, followers, heads, valves, springs, guides, pistons, rings, gearbox gears, clutch, primary chain.
The result is a top shelf example that really needs to be seen in person to appreciate the work and detail undertaken. Opportunities like this are few and far between.
