Xaus to race in Italian Championship

...and still on crutches at Phillip Island - Ruben Xaus and Sterilgarda Berik team mate Marco Borciani will contest selected Italian National Superbike rounds in between SBK meetings this season.

For Xaus, it's the opportunity to build up some race fitness after being laid up, both riders also using the national races to build up data on their Ducati 999 F05s to hopefully improve their position in SBK competition.
