World Superbikes releases provisional 2026 calendar
The Motul FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) has released their provisional calendar for 2026, which features 12 rounds, all on familiar circuits from this year’s championship. As in 2025, the World Supersport Championship (WorldSSP) will race as the undercard at all 12 rounds, with other support categories at selected European rounds.
The 2026 WorldSBK season will get underway in February and conclude in October, with the mid-season break in August.

Australia continues to be the only WorldSBK round held outside Europe and the UK, and will once again host the season opener at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit. For 2026, this is scheduled for 20-22 February, preceded by the traditional pre-season test a week earlier. There’s more than a month’s gap between Round 1 and Round 2, which for 2026 will be held at Portimao, as it was this year.
Assen remains unchanged as Round 3, but Cremona moves from Round 4 to Round 8. Balaton Park in Hungary, which made its WorldSBK debut this year, will occupy Cremona’s spot in Round 4. Most in Czechia will host Round 5, with Aragon in Spain moved from Round 10 to Round 6.
Despite being bumped back a spot to Round 7, the Misano round will be held on an almost identical mid-June date to this year. A month after that, Donington Park will be the final round before the mid-season break.

The 2026 season will resume at Magny-Cours in France (unchanged from this year), followed by Cremona and the second Portuguese round at Estoril. Jerez is scheduled to host the season finale, but this remains subject to contract.
While this provisional calendar doesn’t include dates for the Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship that races alongside WorldSBK at selected weekends, the all-new World Sportbike Championship (WorldSPB) that’ll replace World Supersport 300 next year has been included. WorldSPB will run eight rounds for its debut season, starting at Portimao, with subsequent rounds at Assen, Most, Aragon, Misano, Magny-Cours, Cremona and Jerez.
This provisional 2026 WorldSBK calendar is expected to be finalised by October/November this year.
