WHERE'S GAZZA?

After parting ways with the Foggy Petronas Superbike team at the end of 2005, Garry McCoy had drifted off the radar, but has popped up again, confirming he'll be taking part in the World Supermoto Championship, an eight round series that runs throughout Europe.

McCoy has previously made irregular appearances in the hybrid dirt-bitumen discipline, which is well suited to his spectacular, tyre-smoking riding style. According to McCoy's partner, Jemma Voces, Garry has been in full training since February at a Supermoto track near his Andorran home. The class McCoy will compete in - big bore S1 or the smaller S2 class - has yet to be confirmed. The World Supermoto season kicks off in Italy on April 30.
