Velocette to feature at 2013 HBBB
As well as Velo singles and twins, from Thruxtons down to LEs and everything in between, there will be a mouthwatering array of racing models, including all three of Motorcycling Australia's famous locally-brewed 250s - the DOHC Eldee built by Les Deiner, the DOHC Hunter 250, and the amazingly successful MOV Special built and raced by Bob Elsbury.
There will also be KTTs representing the illustrious chain of factory racing Velos that garnered many TT wins and the initial 350 cc World Championship. If you would like to join the Velo action and have a suitable bike, contact Richard Fanning on 03 9877 7007 or 0408 303409 for further details.
The 2013 HBBB will also feature a special tribute to Honda's RC30 and RC45 race weapons, with a number of Australian championship-winning machines expected for the event, including the two ex-Honda Australia Winfield Team bikes raced to Australian title success by Troy Corser and Anthony Gobert.
A much bigger trials section will be another highlight at this year's HBBB, while the Enduro loop, speedway, dirt track and motocross circuit are not to be missed either. Saturday night's always-popular Gala Dinner, at the Mitchell Shire Function Centre in Broadford, is another highlight. Along with great food and wines from the award-winning Tahbilk Winery, the evening also features interviews with the stars of the HBBB. The Gala Dinner is a ticketed event, so don't miss out - see the event website for details.
Proudly supported by Honda, the 2013 Honda Broadford Bike Bonanza will take place at the Victorian State Motorcycle Sports Complex, Broadford, this Easter (March 30 - 31).
