Triumph Bonneville and Speed Triple Special Editions
Exact release dates are still to be confirmed, but the Bonneville SE is scheduled to hit Triumph dealerships this month, followed by the Speed Triple SE in April.
Bonneville SE
The new Special Edition Bonneville features a funky red frame and stunning Matt Black paint job, with thick satin-finish Cranberry Red tank stripe. The same Cranberry Red colour is applied to the front and rear guards.
Additionally, the front end gets new front indicators and headlight mounts (as per the Thruxton), whilst the rear end sees the addition of a black pillion grab rail and 'bash' plate. The Bonneville SE also sports a unique seat design comprising new stitching and vinyl covering. Contemporary black mirrors complete the new look.
The Bonneville SE's characteristic 865cc engine, retro chrome styling and cast aluminium wheels are unchanged from a stock Bonneville. Listed price for the Bonneville SE is just $12,990RRP.
Speed Triple SE
The Special Edition Speed Triple is based on the current model, but boasts a distinctive blue frame and swingarm, with tank and plastics available in either matt graphite with twin matt blue decals or crystal white with twin gloss blue decals.
The special edition gets lightweight carbon fibre front mudguard side pods, tank cover panel and inner radiator panels. A colour-matched fly screen, belly pan and seat cowl also come as standard, as well as neat finishing details, like the rubber tank pad and clear rear light. A new styled clutch, alternator and sprocket cover are other elements of the Speed Triple makeover.
Finishing the dynamic look are blue wheel pinstripes, while new black mirrors, silencer heat shields, handlebars and yokes complete the aesthetics.
The Speed Triple SE's 1050cc three cylinder engine is unchanged. The Speed Triple SE will retail at $18,190.
