Rieju 2024 ‘Six Days’ edition arrives

The latest special edition enduro motorcycle from Rieju, the ‘Six Days Argentina,’ has landed in Australia, bringing a distinctive livery and additional features over the already highly-spec’d 2024 MR Pro 300 it’s based on.

Announced back in November and with pre-orders open in January, the MR Six Days Argentina started arriving in Rieju dealerships in February.

Created to honour last year’s International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) that was held in San Juan, Argentina (the 2024 ISDE will be held in Spain), the MR Six Days Argentina features ISDE logos and the blue and white colours of the Argentine flag on the plastics. Blue and white decals are also applied to the fork shrouds, handguards and swingarm.

Upgrades over the MR Pro include a full FMF Powercore 2.1 titanium exhaust, blue silicone cooling hoses and Crosspro extended crankcase cover. The rest of the spec is as per the MR Pro 300, including Renthal bars and grips, Excel rims and hubs, KYB suspension front and rear, Nissin brakes and an Enduro-Pro seat.

The MR Six Days Argentina is powered by a liquid-cooled 299cc two-stroke single with kick and electric start, digital ignition and a choice of two engine maps – Dry and Rain. To suit slow speed manoeuvring in gruelling off-road conditions, there’s an electric radiator fan and oil-cooled starter as standard.

A six-speed gearbox and multiplate clutch with a Magura clutch pump are also standard, while the chromoly steel frame with an aluminium subframe and swingarm combines strength with lightness.

The KYB suspension offers 300mm front and 131mm rear travel. The Excel wheels – 21-inch front and 18-inch rear - are fitted with road legal Michelin enduro medium tyres.

The MR Six Days Argentina’s 970mm seat height and 120kg dry weight are both increases on the MR Pro 300 that this limited edition is based on.
