Rideaway offer for launch of 2017 Honda CMX bobber
LAMS-legal, the CMX is powered by a 471cc parallel twin-cylinder engine with smooth, linear power delivery. Honda says tuned gearing emphasizes the mechanical sound of the engine even at idle, while the internal muffler structure has been thoroughly tuned to further emphasize the pulse and feel of the engine.
The CMX is simple and raw, with Honda saying the minimalist design can be kept as is, or customised - the scope is only limited by your imagination.
Rolling on fat tyres its low and lean 'bobber' silhouette - crowned by the steeply raked 11.2lt fuel tank and fat handlebars - sits the rider firmly 'in' the machine.
With a low seat height, designed for easy manoeuvrability at low speed, the riding position is relaxed and neutral, with easy reach to the handlebars and mid-mounted footpegs. A removable pillion seat is included as standard.
When launched in April, the CMX will be available in Matte Armoured Silver Metallic, Victory Red and Graphite Black.
Honda invites potential CMX owners to register their interest at the upcoming model's dedicated website: www.hondacmx.com.au
