Repsol Edition CBR1000RR coming
Set for local release in September, the 2013 Limited Edition Repsol CBR1000RR can be ordered now from Honda Dealerships nationally. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, MLP for the Limited Edition will be only $16,890 (Manufacturers List Price, excludes registration and on-road costs).
After celebrating its 20th Anniversary last year, the latest version of the CBR1000RR Fireblade is powered by a DOHC inline 4-cylinder 999cc engine that features a Programmed Dual Sequential Fuel Injection System (PGM-DSFI).
Add to this the Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD), along with the lightweight 12-spoke cast aluminium wheels introduced on the 2012 model, and the result is a Supersport machine that is smooth and easy to handle.
Suspension changes introduced last year are carried over for 2013, improving stability and traction. The rear suspension features a Showa balance-free rear cushion, while the front end runs a telescopic inverted Showa big piston front fork.
Styling features include what Honda call "line-beam" headlights and air intake shapes adding sharpness to the 'Blade, but unaltered from the 2012 model.
Actual numbers of the limited edition 2013 Repsol Honda CBR1000R are unconfirmed, but there won't be many, so see your Honda dealer for further details and to order this exciting new release.
