RC30 Hondas to star at 2013 HBBB
A special tribute to the mighty Honda RC30 will put around a dozen of these exotic and highly-prized V4s on track over the HBBB weekend. Of particular note are the two ex-Honda Australia Winfield Team bikes raced to Australian title successes by Troy Corser and Anthony Gobert.
The ex-Corser bike is owned by Western Motorcycles Penrith dealer, Ray Moodie, and will be ridden by former top Production Racer Richard Scoular. The sister machine is owned by Melbourne-based Peter Howes, who will also be bringing his delectable Castrol Honda RC45 that was ridden at Eastern Creek last year by Scott Campbell.
Add to this pair a host of other pristine examples of the bikes Honda commissioned to snare the inaugural World Superbike Championship in 1988 and you have the biggest collection of RC30/45s ever seen together in this country. HBBB organisers say the gaggle of RC30s will be a sight (and sound) that shouldn't be missed.
The 2013 Honda Broadford Bike Bonanza is once again proudly supported by Honda, who has played an integral role in establishing and supporting the event since its inception in 2009.
