Piaggio X7 250 - future scooter
Great performance is guaranteed by a choice of 125 and 250 fuel injected engines - both four stroke, 4 valve, liquid cooled units. The tall aerodynamic screen and leg guards have been designed with rider protection in mind, while the unusual headlamp arrangement gives the X7 more of a car-like front end, in line with latest generation of Piaggio GT scooters.
Reduced rear overhang is reported to aid aerodynamics, making the X7 not only more efficient on regular commutes, but more economical, too. Despite the reduced rear end, underseat storage space is still impressive, able to hold a full face and open face helmet. Large 14" and 13" wheels plus a chassis built to cope with the city completes the picture. The X7 will come in a choice of three metallic finishes, Mars Red, Pulsar Grey and Midnight Blue, plus a classical Shiny Black.
A range of accessories, including 44 litre top box, 4 mm methacrylate windshield, Tom Tom satnav and electronic anti-theft alarm will also be available.
