ODES Cattleman EX400ES Review
Importers, Down Under Dirt Bikes, have worked extensively with the Chinese manufacturers from the outset, to ensure the ATVs are among the best available to suit Aussie conditions. The first result of that co-operation was the 'Cattleman' range of ATVs - which comes with a fresh new look for 2008. The 2008 Cattleman EX400ES has a modern look with all the same great features plus a few new ones, like new front and rear storage and a wider carry all space front and rear.
Odes has added a new electronic gear selection mode (ES = Electronic Shift) that outshines anything in its class, with a gear change that's so smooth you're unlikely to even notice it. The Cattleman EX400ES still features a 4x4 select that allows operators to ride in 2WD mode for better handling and lighter feel. With the touch of a button you can select 4x4 and take on any terrain that needs the extra grip of a 4x4 ATV. The IRS system in the EX400ES model leaves the others behind when it comes to ride and travel, while the stability of the independent rear suspension is something else again. Now with alloy wheels and brand-name heavy duty tyres, the Odes Cattleman EX400ES is a force to be reckoned with.
