New Husqvarna's to go on show at 2014 Moto Expo
Presented by Troy Bayliss Events, Moto Expo will be the first stop for HQVA's brand-new Husqvarna Australia range display.
Arguably the most iconic brand in dirt bikes, and one that's been racing for more than 50 years, Husqvarna has been reborn following their acquisition a year ago by KTM Sportmotorcycles.
Using the Austrian parent company's platform of state-of-the-art technology and production values, the first two and four-stroke motocross and enduro machines out of Austria have taken on historic status, and attracted plenty of interest from dirt bike aficionados far and wide.
That interest spiked with the elevation of Australian motocross Vice Champion Todd Waters to the Ice One World Motocross Championship team owned by F1 star Kimi Raikonnen for 2014.
The Husqvarna Australia stand will enable fans to check out the entire of new two and four-stroke motocross and enduro competition bike range, from the very popular TC 85 right through to the mighty FE 501 enduro monster.
In between are a number of other show-stoppers, including the two-stroke TE 300 - the choice of 4-time Hell's Gate winner Graham Jarvis - which combines Extreme Enduro performance with low maintenance costs and top-of-the line components.
Another two-stroke, the TC 250 motocrosser, is the MX2 category's secret weapon, while the FE 350 enduro is another popular model among the new-look 2014 Husqvarnas, and considered the ideal combination of maximum performance and light, agile handling, making it the perfect solution for either racing or trail riding.
The exhibit will also feature the full range of Husky Power and Husky style accessories on display.
The Insure My Ride Moto Expo runs from March 21-23 at the Brisbane Showgrounds on Gregory Terrace and features all the latest road and off-road motorcycles and related vehicles, as well as a host of live motorcycle demonstrations and events.
