New accessories for Ducati Scrambler
Ducati has announced a range of new accessories to suit their next-generation Scrambler. With the Scrambler created as a platform for customisation from the outset, this new range allows owners to personalise their motorcycle in a number of ways.
The new Ducati Scrambler already offers more tech than the previous version, with Cornering ABS and Traction Control introduced for this generation of the urban motorcycle. It’s also lighter by 4kg, so many items in the new range have been created with this lightweight mantra in mind.
A Rizoma aluminium kit includes footpegs, levers, handlebar counterweights and a fuel filler cap CNC machined from aluminium. There's also a lightweight aluminium mirrors and an oil filler cap. The new levers are span adjustable and jointed to limit damage in a fall, while the pegs are wider for improved grip.
Handlebar counterweights are available in black or black with Ducati Red detailing, with the accessory oil filler cap offered in a choice of black or red. The new fuel filler cap is offered in black or a combination of raw aluminium and black.
LED indicators and a high-mount number plate bracket with LED light are also in the range, along with an engine sump guard and spoked wheels with black rims and a choice of black or polished spokes.
For navigation functionality, Ducati Performance offers software that uses the Ducati Link App to present turn-by-turn navigation instructions on the Scrambler’s standard TFT instrument screen. Available as a dealer-installed accessory with a new bike, this software can also be retro-fitted post-purchase.
With performance riding in mind, a Ducati Quick Shift (standard on the Scrambler Full Throttle) allows clutchless up and down shifting. There’s also a Termignoni muffler that “livens up the sound” of the Scrambler’s 803cc desmo twin engine. This slip-on muffler is finished in black with a carbon fibre band and end cap.
