MV Agusta launches customisation service
Following the lead of premium carmakers like Bentley, Lamborghini, Aston Martin and Ferrari that offer vehicle tailoring services and bespoke builds, MV Agusta has launched ‘Sartoria Meccanica’. Literally translating to ‘Mechanical Tailoring’, this new service will allow MV Agusta customers to specify unique motorcycles based on current production models.

All the design and engineering expertise of MV Agusta Centro Stile, the brand’s in-house studio, converges in the Sartoria Meccanica program, blending Italian craftsmanship with cutting-edge engineering to deliver what MV Agusta says will be bespoke solutions of the highest calibre.
The Sartoria Meccanica experience begins with an in-depth consultation between the customer and MV Agusta’s team of designers. If technically and legally viable, the project is then executed with the utmost precision, via a direct, dialogue-based process that ensures an unparalleled level of customisation.

“At MV Agusta, our customers are at the heart of everything we do,” said Luca Martin, CEO of MV Agusta Motor S.p.A. “Sartoria Meccanica reflects our commitment to delivering not just exceptional motorcycles, but truly unique experiences tailored to each individual’s passion and vision.
“It is an honour for us to collaborate with our customers in creating one-of-a-kind machines for those who want to turn their motorcycle dreams into reality.”

Sartoria Meccanica offers three levels of customisation, applicable across the entire MV Agusta range:
- Essenziale: the base level allows exclusive colours and graphics, along with preferred materials for the saddle.
- Ricercato: the next level offers graphic customisation of technical components like the frame, swingarm and triple clamp, also allowing the customer’s preferred wheels to be applied.
- Iconico: the highest level of bespoke customisation includes all options in the previous categories, while also allowing for dedicated high-performance components, one-off technical solutions, a custom-designed helmet matching the motorcycle’s graphics, and personalised paddock stand.

Each Sartoria Meccanica creation comes with a certificate of authenticity and a plaque. All motorcycles produced under Sartoria Meccanica retain MV Agusta’s factory 5-year warranty.
The process for Australian MV Agusta enthusiasts to utilise the Sartoria Meccanica service had not been revealed at time of writing. Potential customers should contact their local MV Agusta dealer for details.
