Motorcycle Sprint entries open for 2022 Geelong Revival
Motorcycle category entries for the quarter mile sprints at the 2022 Geelong Revival Motoring Festival opened on 8 August, so now’s the time to get your sprint entry in for the 25-27 November event on the Geelong waterfront.

Hundreds of cars and motorcycles are expected to take part in the sprints along Ritchie Boulevard, with bikes and sidecar outfits of all ages, styles and displacements welcome, including fully-fledged competition motorcycles and street-registered bikes.
You don’t need to be an experienced racer, either, with first-timers welcome.

To take part in the motorcycle sprints, entry fees range from $100/bike for a single-day entry to $175/bike for a two-day entry. Each entry gets you four starts per motorcycle per day and includes 1 x pit space, race number stickers, 1 x rider pass and 2 x pit crew passes.
Sprint competitors need to place their entries through Ridernet and also sign a Motorcycling Victoria waiver and indemnity, a copy of which must be provided by each competitor when checking in.
(NOTE: Ridernet processing applies to motorcycle sprint entries only, with car sprint entries processed through Motorsport Australia).
Various other requirements are necessary for sprint entrants, too, which can be found at:geelongrevival.com.au
The cut-off for sprint entries is 14 November, unless fully allocated prior.

To take the hassle out of entering and competing, Geelong-based motorcycle service centre The Motorcycle Shed has partnered with the Geelong Revival offer a special package for competitors.
The Revival Race Package includes a pre-race performance and safety inspection of your bike, space in the pits with The Motorcycle Shed team, access to their mechanics during the event and two crew passes for each day of competition. The Motorcycle Shed will also process your entry.
Priced at $160 for a single day or $220 for two days, more details on the Revival Race Package can be found by calling (03) 5229 2663 or emailing: [email protected]

The quarter mile sprints are the prime attraction at the 2022 Geelong Revival, but there’s also the Shannons Classic Motorshow, Motorcycle Mecca and other themed displays, a trade expo, live music, the National Vintage Fashion Awards and more.
Except for pit access and VIP hospitality packages, public entry is free to all elements of the Revival.

The Geelong Revival Motoring Festival is scheduled for 25-27 November and is an event that shouldn’t be missed.
