The Aprilia Multimedia Platform (aMP) consists of an app, available through the iTunes store, and handlebar-fitted platform, that when added to your Caponord, uses a wireless connection that turns your iPhone or Android smartphone into a virtual on-board computer, with real-time and multifunction capability.

Functions of the combined aMP app and platform include a speedometer, RPM indicator, engine power and torque data, instant and average fuel consumption, suggested gear selection, longitudinal acceleration and an extended trip computer.

A low fuel indicator is a handy addition, especially when combined with the aMP's GPS technology that will identify the nearest service station and even the closest Aprilia dealer. Combined with the GPS, the aMP will also record the last position of the motorcycle before the engine is turned off, in the off chance that the rider forgot where they parked it!

A shift light function, lean angle calculator and Aprilia Traction Control indicator are other features, with the aMP also able to store all the journey data, so you can analyse your trip and riding form.
