KTM'S X-BOW IS GO!

Following the positive reception to its launch at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, KTM has confirmed the X-Bow (pronounced 'Crossbow') four wheeler will go into production in 2008.

The Austrian dirt bike specialists had initially planned to build only a limited run of 100 units, but since the Geneva show, they have received 600 firm orders.

Made from a welter of lightweight components, and powered by an Audi 2.0lt engine, the X-Bow is expected to be a real track day weapon. European street homologation rules means it should be road-registerable, too. Unfortunately, there are no plans by KTM to bring the X-Bow to Australia at this stage.
