KTM announces 2023 RIDE OUT Moto Weekend programme

Powered by KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas, this year’s series of RIDE OUT Moto Weekends will take place in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, with each event promising the ultimate weekend for KTM, Husqvarna or GasGas riders and their families.

RIDE OUT Moto Weekends are open to adult riders who own a KTM, Husqvarna or GasGas off-road motorcycle (enduro, MX or cross-country) and their kids, who can participate on any brand of kid’s bike.

The 2023 RIDE OUT programme is scheduled to kick off in Wangaratta (Vic) on 14-16 April, followed by Stroud, north of Newcastle (NSW) on 19-21 May, with the final weekend at Cooby Dam in Queensland’s Darling Downs region on 30 June – 2 July.

Each event is a two-night, two-day recreational adventure on private property, designed to be a fun, relaxed, family-friendly experience, where riding takes centre stage and everyone comes away with a huge smile on their dial.

Each weekend features a custom-cut 10-12km trail loop, a fun grasstrack, an easy-going hillclimb and a newbies/kids track; all of which are available for riders to enjoy across the weekend. You can ride as much or as little as you want each day, making the most of all the tracks and set-ups on offer.

Registration fee is $299 per adult rider, $50 per junior rider (aged 5-15) or $499 per group (two riding adults and two riding juniors). For groups, an extra non-riding member can attend for an additional $30. The fees include two nights of camping on site and two days of riding.

To participate, riders must have either a Motorcycling Australia (MA) National Senior Competition Licence or an MA Recreational Licence, which are available to purchase at time of registration.

Registrations opened on Friday, 17 February, but as numbers for each weekend are strictly limited, riders are advised to book their spot as soon as possible.

At all three weekends, the range of 2023 KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas off-road models will be available to demo/test on a 5-7km test ride loop. There’ll also be live music, an American-style BBQ, catering, coffee, partner stalls, giveaways (including rider goodie-bags), plus special guests and handy mechanical advice.
