Husqvarna WR300/TE310 and Super Motard
This machine has been created to meet the demands of a particular section of the market that wants a motorcycle that is mid way between a 250 and a 450 cc 4-stroke. The Husqvarna TE 310 has a completely renewed frame that is 1 kg lighter than the 2008 4-stroke models, is more rigid and offers the rider better feel and manageability. The TE 310 also has a new more compact digital display that, though smaller, is perfectly readable and blends beautifully with the new headlamp unit that houses it. Husqvarna WR 300 The flagship model of the Husqvarna 2 Stroke range.
The WR 300 started life as a transformation kit for the WR 250but is now a fully fledged member of the Husqvarna Enduro family to meet the demand for machines of this engine size. As a perfect replica of the winning machine raced by Sebastian Guillaume in Class 3 of the Enduro World Championship series, the WR 300 offers the rider progressive, useable power but, at the same time, is capable of superb performance when outright power alone is what counts. The increase to 300cc is thanks to an increase in the bore and the new piston now measures 72 mm (66.4 mm on the 250) to give 293.1cc.Apart from the piston and bore, there is also a completely new exhaust valve and changes to the cylinder head and exhaust pipe in comparison with the 250 version. The engine now features a V Force reed valve system and 38 mm TMX Mikuni carburettor. The WR 300 chassis components have been updated as all the other Enduro models: New disc brakes, newly calibrated forks and shock absorber and a new head lamp unit with compact digital display .The Husqvarna WR 300 is the flagship model of the Husqvarna 2 strokes Enduro range, priced at $11,995.00 + ORC, comes with a factory endorsed 24 month parts and labor warranty and is available through the Australian Husqvarna dealer network.
Husqvarna Supermotard range
The Husqvarna Supermotard range offers 4 different models ranging from 450 to 610 cc. Without any shadow of a doubt, Husqvarna is the leader of the pack in the Supermotard sector. In the early 90's, they were the first to run an official team in the various national championships (the French were the first) and also the first to include a Supermotard model in their line up. These bikes were specially designed to meet all the requirements of this very specific discipline and brought great success to riders in the main Italian and World Supermoto Champion-ships. Husqvarna has transformed the race winning machines into "standard" production machines offering customers a range of motorcycle products to suit all. Customers can range from youngsters with their first Motard to riders wishing to use their Husqvarna for daily commuting and the occasional out of town ride to those wanting to ride the same machines as the world champions. The SM 450R and 510R, SM 450 RR and SM 610 have all been completely renewed with three key elements in mind: performance, reliability and hot European style. The SM 450R is the starting point for those wanting to experience the thrills of motarding. Now fitted with electronic injection, this bike meets Euro 3 requirements like the rest of the Husqvarna Supermotard machines. The frames and engines on the SM 450R and SM 510 R have been completely renewed and fuel injection systems fitted. The SM 450 RR is a replica of the machine on which Adrien Chareyre won the Supermoto World Championship. It is a pure competition machine that is not homologated for road use and that will be produced as a limited edition model of 100 units worldwide .The latest version of the SM 610 i.e. now comes in two colour schemes and has electronic injection that was developed in collaboration with Mikuni.
