Husqvarna SM 510R. Aug 06
The Husqvarna SM 510R four stroke engine now includes a new head with larger valves, new inlet camshaft profile and new inlet and exhaust manifolds, now producing more power than the previous model.
The handling has also received some radical upgrades derived from the race to production philosophy of Husqvarna. The SM 510R has received new 50mm Marzocchi front forks, newly calibrated Sachs shock absorber, new fully adjustable Tommaselli handlebars, as well as a new larger digital instrumentation unit.
The new Brembo radial front brakes have a 320 mm diameter disc, with a "racing" master cylinder and adjustable lever to further improve braking ability, efficiency and feel.
The Husqvarna SM 510R will line up alongside the already available SM 450R and SM 610, to complete the 2006 Husqvarna Super-motard range. All Husqvarna road legal motorcycles have a factory endorsed 24 month parts and labour warranty.
The Husqvarna SM510R is priced at $12,990 + ORC and is available through the Australian Husqvarna dealer network. www.husqvarnamotorcycles.com.au
