Husqvarna SM 450RR LE. March 06
Australian supermoto enthusiasts will be impressed with the range of special components fitted standard to these machines. The bike features a TIG welded frame with adjustable rake as well as shortened Marzocchi forks for increased traction and manoeuvrability.
"This limited edition SM450RR is based on the standard SM450R, but is set-up to go supermotard racing straight out of the crate", said Australian distributor, Paul Feeney.
Performance enhancements for the SM 450RR include a more powerful race spec engine linked to a six speed gearbox, with a STM slipper clutch, Rexfelgen red anodised wheels fitted with a 120/70/17 front and 165/55/17 rear Dunlop slick tyres. Electric and kick start systems are incorporated as standard as well as a 41mm Kehin carburettor and Brembo radial front brakes. Spare sprockets, steering rake sockets and a race stand are included in the spares kit for this limited model.
Other design elements taken from the TC motocross range include tapered Tommaselli handlebars and a full Titanium Arrow exhaust system, which meets FIM 2006 noise level standards. The bike also comes fitted with a number of special carbon fibre components.
The special edition Husqvarna SM450RR will be priced at $ 18,500.00 and is expected to arrive in very limited numbers into Australia shortly.
