Husqvarna adventure ride returns for 2022
Husqvarna Motorcycles have announced details of their 2022 Australian adventure ride event, with a new name, a new addition and an extra day of riding.
Previously known as the ‘701 Enduro Trek,’ the Australian arrival of Husqvarna’s Norden 901 adventure bike has led to a rebranding of the multi-day ride event as the ‘Husky Trek’ for 2022.
To be held in Queensland from Sunday, 14 August to Friday, 19 August, the '2022 Husky Trek: Queensland Country' offers owners of Husqvarna’s 701 Enduro and Norden 901 the chance to explore an outstanding part of Australia with like-minded adventurers.
Starting in the Bunya Mountains, an isolated section of the Great Dividing Range in south-east Queensland, the 2022 Husky Trek route heads north for a two-night stay at Gayndah, Queensland’s oldest town, with a special loop on Day Three through a 1,500-acre private property.
Returning to the Bunya Mountains via Gympie, the five days and approximately 1,500km of adventure riding will take in a variety of terrain, from lush rainforests to flowing forest tracks, creek crossings and open gravel roads winding through endless cattle country.
The 2022 Husky Trek is tailored to suit a wide range of rider abilities, with the main route achievable for first-time adventurers with a little bit of off-road experience, while optional hard routes add some spice for those that like to challenge themselves.
Fully supported, Husky Trek: Queensland Country includes lead and sweep riders, luggage/technical/medical support, GPS routes, course markers and a back-up vehicle, so riders can focus on enjoying the adventure.
Dinner is included each night, with a photographer and videographer on hand to capture the occasion.
Exclusive to licensed owners of registered Husqvarna 701 Enduro, 701 Enduro LR and Norden 901 motorcycles, entry to the 2022 Husky Trek is $1,795 per rider. Pricing excludes breakfast, lunch and accommodation.
Registrations for the 2022 Husky Trek: Queensland Country opened on Wednesday, 9 March. Entries are limited and Ts & Cs do apply, so go to: husqvarna-motorcycles.com for more details or see your Husqvarna dealer.
