Honda tops Aussie bike market for Jan Jun 2014

Despite an overall market that saw sales decline, Honda's numbers stayed firm for the January to June 2014 period, with 12,212 sales across all market segments.

"We're delighted to remain the number one brand in Australia," Honda Motorcycles' General Manager, Peter Singleton said.

"By creating products wanted by customers, and offering outstanding value through our dealer network, our brand continues to grow."

Key winners for Honda included the CBR 500R, which increased sales 86 percent compared to the same time last year.
