Honda backs new Moroccan-Dakar doco
The duo consists of Laura Csortan and French-born Christophe Barriere-Varju.
TV personality and former model Csortan should be familiar to most Aussies, while Barriere-Varju is a past Dakar entrant and veteran rally rider that's made Australia his home.
National Geographic says the duo will introduce viewers to the bike ride of a lifetime.
On their extraordinary journey through Morocco, which was a regular part of the African iteration of the Dakar, the pair will experience breathtakingly beautiful valleys and expansive vistas, making new friends along the way.
Barriere-Varju will share his vast knowledge and demonstrate serious off-road riding borne of his experience as a Paris-Dakar rider on the manual transmission version of the CRF 1000L, while Csortan will enjoy traversing an expansive continent on the DCT model (which does not require clutch operation).
National Geographic and Honda say the adventures, challenges, and encounters in Morocco will set the stage for a thoroughly entertaining program.
