HERITAGE FORUM TT-TERRIFIC!

For a debut event, the Little River TT Reunion (that we previewed in the June issue of JUST BIKES) was a huge hit, participants and spectators alike enjoying the opportunity to soak in the history and atmosphere of the road course that hosted the 1952 Australian TT as well as a pair of Victorian TT events.

Travelling along the original roads that made up the TT course, one can only marvel at the bravery of those who hurled classic iron around the course at speeds that would definitely not be for the faint-hearted! Most of the bikes retraced the route of the original TT course, as part of a special parade, before returning to the 'paddock' area at the Little River Mechanics Institute Hall. With the 2008 event being so well supported and attended, the TT Reunion looks set to become a regular fixture, maybe running every 2 or three years.

There were some interesting and intriguing classics on display, several of which we will cover in more detail in future JUST BIKES.
