Harley-Davidson ‘United We Ride’ event a success
Riders from across Australia and New Zealand rallied together on Saturday, 6 September, 2025, for the first edition of ‘United We Ride’. Conceived by Harley-Davidson Australia and New Zealand (Harley-Davidson ANZ) as a fundraiser for The Salvation Army, the inaugural United We Ride has been declared a success, with significant awareness and funds raised for the charity.

Ahead of the event, participants in United We Ride signed up for a ride in their area, then started raising funds for The Salvation Army through donations from friends, family and colleagues, or by donating themselves.
The day saw more than 50 separate rides held, all co-ordinated by Harley-Davidson dealerships throughout Australia, from Darwin to Launceston, and on both the North and South Island of New Zealand. In total, 2,915 riders took part, collectively covering more than 241,588 kilometres, showcasing the passion and dedication of Harley-Davidson enthusiasts.

United We Ride participants successfully raised $138,000 for The Salvation Army on the day, with subsequent donations taking the total beyond $150,000. Harley-Davidson ANZ also donated $250,000 worth of Harley-Davidson clothing to Salvation Army Stores to support Aussies and Kiwis doing it tough.
A selection of premium prizes for United We Ride’s top fundraisers included a new Harley-Davidson X350 motorcycle and $500 Harley-Davidson dealership voucher. Additional prizes were provided by event partners that included Michelin, Allianz, Quadlock and the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix.

"The overwhelming support for our first 'United We Ride’ is a testament to the passionate community that defines Harley-Davidson,” said Nigel Keough, Managing Director of Harley-Davidson ANZ. “We are incredibly proud of our riders for not only celebrating the freedom of the ride but for also coming together to make a real difference for local communities. This event truly embodies the spirit of 'United We Ride.”
Major David Collinson from The Salvation Army added: “The Salvation Army’s partnership with Harley-Davidson has been an amazing ride. We are so grateful for their support, and the support of the amazing community of motorcyclists across ANZ. The funds that have been raised will directly benefit our frontline programs, helping those who need it most."
