Harley-Davidson announce 2021 AUS/NZ Dealer of the Year
Harley-Davidson Australia & New Zealand announced the results of their Dealer of the Year awards on 4 March, and while there were winners across both countries, a New Zealand dealership took out the overall award for the second year running.
Under criteria that include customer satisfaction, business reporting, marketing and events, commitment to training and performance in sales, service, parts, accessories and merchandise, ‘Road and Sport Harley-Davidson’ in Hamilton, NZ, was judged the Dealer of the Year for 2021, winning $20,000 to put towards their business.
This is the second successive year in which Road and Sport have won the overall Dealer of the Year award, something which Barry and Shelley Sproule, who own and operate the family-run dealership, are extremely proud of.
“We are thrilled to be recognised as Dealer of the Year for a second year running,” Barry Sproule said. “We take huge pride in what we do and, along with our dedicated team, we all have huge passion for the Harley-Davidson brand.”
Road and Sport commenced Harley-Davidson operations in 1990 and has been serving the motorcycling community in Hamilton and surrounds for more than thirty years.
Nigel Keough, Managing Director of Harley-Davidson ANZ, commended Road and Sport for their back-to-back win: “Barry and Shelley know how to run a great business, they excel in customer service and their passion for our brand and our purpose is evident in all they do.”
Alongside the Dealer of the Year award, other 2021 category winners included:
Large Category - Gasoline Alley Harley-Davidson (QLD)
Medium Category - Harley Heaven Adelaide (SA)
Small Category - Richardson's Harley-Davidson (Tasmania)
“We appreciate all our award winners for raising the bar in customer satisfaction, customer care and building desirability for the Harley-Davidson brand,” Keough added.
