Geelong Revival is coming to Melbourne

The crew behind the annual Geelong Revival Motoring Festival are expanding the concept to Melbourne, with the first ‘Sandown Revival Motoring Festival’ to be held on 17-18 January, 2026.

Featuring many of the same elements that have made the Geelong Revival so popular, like the on-track racing, car and motorcycle show, club displays, vintage fashion awards, trade stands and entertainment, the Sandown Revival will also expand the concept.

As the event is being held at Sandown Raceway, it means laps can be part of the programme, too. On-track activity will include SuperSprint action on Sandown’s main straight and Regularity events that’ll use the full 3.1km circuit.

Across both disciplines, more than 220 vehicles are expected to participate, covering the same diverse range of new, old, stock and modified vehicles that make the Geelong Revival sprints so engaging.

A show ‘n’ shine will welcome 350+ classic, exotic and historic vehicles to Sandown, including SuperClassica, a high-end, concours-style showcase. Other attractions will include a vintage fashion show, trade stands, parades and stunt displays, off-track entertainment, competitions, food vendors and more.

One key difference with the Sandown Revival compared to the Geelong Revival is that all admission will be ticketed. Options include a General Pass, Super Pass and VIP Pass.

The General Pass (equivalent to General Admission) includes access to Sandown’s public areas, the show 'n' shine, car club displays and more, with great views of the on-track action. This option costs just $20.00/day for children, $35.00/day for student/concession, $45.00/day for adults and $110.00/day for a family of four.

Stepping up to a Super Pass gets you access to the pits, plus enhanced viewing areas and other benefits. A VIP Pass opens the door to an exclusive trackside VIP Zone with shaded seating, gourmet food and a private bar, with a Hot Lap Experience optional. Super Pass and VIP Pass tickets are limited and selling fast.
