GasGas brings back EC 125 for 2025
GasGas have released details on their enduro range for 2025, which includes the return of the EC 125 2-stroke, plus improvements to other models in the range.

Designed for juniors and newcomers to enduro, ensuring they start off on the right foot, the EC 125 is built off the same foundation as the MC 125, but adds enduro-specific components like a six-speed transmission, stator, engine mapping select switch and an 18-inch rear wheel.
The liquid-cooled, 2-stroke 125cc single that’s at the heart of the EC 125 features electric start, EFi, a 39mm Keihin throttle body and two selectable engine maps – one for technical terrain and hard-pack surfaces, and the other for deep and sandy tracks. The EC 125’s advanced Engine Management System includes a Rollover Sensor that automatically cuts the engine in the event of a heavy fall.

A BRAKTEC hydraulic clutch that’s easy for youngsters to operate, six-speed gearbox, WP suspension (XPLOR fork, XACT monoshock) that’s easy to adjust and disc brakes with BRAKTEC calipers are all standard. There’s also a Neken handlebar, LED headlight, Excel rims (21-inch front and 18-inch rear), CNC-machined hubs and Maxxis MaxxEnduro tyres on the spec list.
The EC 125’s dry weight is 99.5kg, fuel capacity is 9.0 litres and seat height is 956mm.
Pricing had not been released at time of writing, but the related MC 125 retails for around $12,000.

Beyond the EC 125, carryover GasGas enduros for 2025 feature an updated rear shock linkage to save weight and improve performance, revised start/stop button placement, new fuel tank support and a stronger rear brake caliper. There’s also a revised swingarm that’s lighter, but also improves the durability of the chain slider.
All enduro models retain GasGas’s signature bright red frame, seat and bodywork, but come with new graphics for 2025, including ‘GASGAS’ identification in bold black.

Available in GasGas dealerships from July, the full 2025 enduro range includes the EC 125, EC 250 and EC 300 2-strokes, plus the EC 250F, EC 350F, EC 450F, and EC 500F four strokes. For more details, see your GasGas dealer.
