FEATURE - 2021 Scrambler 1200 Steve McQueen Edition
Triumph have honoured their connection to legendary actor and motorcyclist Steve McQueen by creating a special, limited-edition version of the Scrambler 1200.

Dedicated to the ‘King of Cool,’ the 2021 Scrambler 1200 Steve McQueen Edition honours the famous scene in The Great Escape where McQueen jumps a barbed wire fence on his “BMW” (actually a Triumph TR6) as he attempts to evade capture by the Germans and escape into neutral Switzerland.

Based on the Scrambler 1200 XE, the Steve McQueen Edition features a distinctive Competition Green paint finish on the tank and mudguards, retro Triumph tank decals and hand-painted coachlines, along with a brown seat.

Engine protection bars and a radiator guard are fitted as standard.

Only 1,000 units of the Scrambler 1200 Steve McQueen Edition will be released worldwide, each carrying its individual build number on the handlebar clamp and backed by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Chad McQueen and Triumph CEO, Nick Bloor.

While pricing for the Scrambler 1200 Steve McQueen Edition has been released, Australian allocation is unknown, but may be as little as a dozen or so.
