Ducati launches ‘Unica’ bespoke programme
Following several car manufacturers who offer factory customisation and personalisation services, Ducati has created a two-wheel equivalent with their ‘Unica’ programme.

Launched in January, Unica (‘unique’ in Italian) will cater for those “who wish to have a Ducati like no other in the world”.

Open to all current Ducati and Scrambler Ducati models, Unica allows passionate Ducatisti to collaborate directly with designers at Centro Stile Ducati to create their own exclusive motorcycle. Ducatisti approved for the programme will be welcomed to Centro Stile Ducati in Borgo Panigale, where they can describe their requirements directly to the designers.

Special colours, bespoke finishes, precious materials and Ducati Performance accessories are all welcome, but there is a caveat in that each creation must be “in compliance with the stylistic criteria that identify a real Ducati”.

Once details are outlined and agreed upon, the customer can follow the progress of their motorcycle as it is individualised through periodical visits to Borgo Panigale.
Given this direct access angle, Ducati Unica is obviously aimed at European-based Ducatisti, but the programme is global, co-ordinated through Ducati dealers around the world.
Each stage of the customisation will be documented, from the first design sketches to the delivery ceremony, with the completed motorcycle receiving a “certificate of uniqueness” from Ducati, too.

“We wanted to give Ducatisti the chance to identify themselves even more with their own bike, making it a direct expression of individual style. Therefore, we created Ducati Unica,” said Andrea Ferraresi, Centro Stile Ducati Director.
“An exciting and unforgettable experience of customisation to be experienced directly within our Centro Stile. The moment in which Ducatisti finally see their bike is very exciting for us at the Centro Stile and a source of great pride."

Ducati Unica will only accommodate a limited number of requests each year and only those considered to be in line with the brand will be considered.
Your Ducati dealer can provide the information necessary to request access to the programme.
