Dobson, Hall confirmed for Suzuki Ecstar MX/SX
Jesse Dobson and Keiron Hall will compete for the factory-backed Suzuki squad in the premier class at both the MX Nationals and Australian Supercross Championship.
Dobson returns to the MX Nationals after a one-off ride with Penrite Honda and competing in New Zealand MX last year, prior to which the Queenslander rode for factory-backed KTM and Husqvarna teams locally. But his potential in the past two seasons has been blunted by a series of injuries.
Hall has a longer association with KSF Racing, joining them last year following time on a Husqvarna for the privateer Synep team, and on an 07 Axis Honda in MX2 competition before that. Hall has scored a number of top-ten finishes in MX1, but a bad knee injury ended his 2017 season early. With their KSF Ecstar Suzuki deals signed, both riders are now looking forward to the season ahead aboard the new, 2018-spec RM-Z450.
"I'm super excited to go racing with the KSF Ecstar Suzuki team for 2018,” said Dobson. “I really wanted to surround myself with good people and equipment this year, so I can achieve the best results possible.”Hall echoed his team mate’s sentiments, adding: "I've got a great relationship with the KSF crew and I'm stoked to be back riding a Suzuki. 2018 is going to be a really good year, I can't wait to get the season started."
