CDR Rockstar Yamaha Super X team preview
This year's revamped Monster Energy Super X series will be the first time the dynamic South Coast duo will ride as team mates in the premier Open class.
For the past two seasons of Super X, Marmont has been the best finisher amongst the Aussie riders, but has yet to claim the title. This year, the CDR rider is determined to add the Super X crown to the four outdoor MX titles he's already secured with the Craig Dack Racing team.
Alongside him, Jake Moss will be a threat, and is in good shape after his shoulder injury earlier in the year.
The Wollongong Monster Energy Super X round (round 2 of the series on October 29) will feature the exciting 'survival' format in the Open class final, where riders will race off in 4 x 6 lap races with the bottom five finishers eliminated after each race. The Lites will race off in a 'Triple Challenge' final, which pits riders against each other in 3 x 6 laps.
A highlight of all rounds in this year's Super X series will be more action on race day than ever before with the all new Pit Bike Cup, Club Challenge, Under 19s and a Monster Energy Freestyle Motocross (FMX) demo in addition to the battle for supremacy in the Open, Lites and Michelin Development Series divisions.
