CBF 1000 Sport. March 2008
Powered by the same high revving engine that shot the first generation CBR1000RR Fireblade to dramatic wins on race tracks around the world, the CBF1000 delivers strong thrusts of acceleration in the low to mid rev range that touring riders need most. Its chassis, suspension and brakes are also top notch, and contribute to the CBF's sporty and swiftly responsive handling capabilities.
Honda Australia will be bringing in the Deluxe Combined ABS version which features triple piston front brake calipers, Combined Brake operating ease and the superbly confident control of Honda's most advanced Anti lock Brake System. Additional features include a half fairing with adjustable windscreen that provides ample protection against the elements, as well as a three position height adjustable seat to offer custom fit comfort and long hours of riding enjoyment, whatever your size. The CBF is also fitted with an oxygen-sensing catalytic exhaust gas converter system to minimise exhaust gas emissions. A set of new lockable after market panniers can be purchased as an accessory and make for perfect two up riding. A wide assortment of additional accessories such as a top box are also available for Honda's new sport tourer to ensure every day on the road is as enjoyable as possible.
The 2008 CBF1000 is now available at a recommended retail price of $14,990 plus ORCs.
